Tour 4 – LOVE Those Animals begins at the corner of West 55th Street and 6th Avenue where you’ll discover a giant iconic image that has also been seen on the face of a U.S. postage stamp. From there you’ll head past the famed Plaza Hotel and through beautiful Central Park till you reach the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

During the tour, you’ll look for and discover great artists’ renditions of 11 delightful animals ranging from turtles to bears, from dancing goats to futuristic birds, from mighty steeds to tiny mice. You’ll visit scenes from the works of both Hans Christian Andersen and Lewis Carroll. And you’ll end the tour marveling at a work of art over 3,000 years old!

And you’ll find them all easily listening to the audio commentary while following along with the fun text and photos. The GPS Navigation System in the top box will lead you to each and every treasure.
